Degarmoara

Degarmoara (lat. × Degarmoara) - a hybrid genus of the family Orchidaceae. It was formed by crossing plants belonging to the subfamily Epidendroideae: × Degarmoara = Brassia × Miltonia × Odontoglossum.

Rhode popular at room floriculture. Abbreviated name of the genus - Dgmra. Rod has already established Russian names in Russian sources commonly used scientific name Degarmoara. A large retail chains sold under the trade name Cambria


Morphological description

Sympodial plants of medium size.Pseudobulbs 6-8 cm long, elongated-ovoid, slightly flattened. Leaves lanceolate.

Peduncles multiflorous, erect, eventually drooping. Peduncles usually appear on the not yet fully mature pseudobulbs. Flowers are up to 10 cm in diameter, varied in shape and color. Grex Some have a nice strong flavor. Blossoms at any time of year, as the maturing of new shoots.

In culture

Temperature group - moderate. Landing in the basket for epiphytes, plastic or ceramic pot. Substrate - a mixture of pine bark medium fractions (slices from 0,5 to 1,0 cm), perlite and peat. Substrate after watering should almost completely stop.
